Who has hear alll the drama over Beyonce experimental track “Bow Down”. People need to just get over the fact Beyonce isn’t making music for them, it for herself, first and foremost. i think she has earn the right to make an aggressive in your face song that breaks the norm for her. I’m not saying its a classic, but I can always respect an artist more when they want to try something completely foreign to them. And considering if another artist did a song like this, you wouldn’t hear all this whining. Keyshia Cole, Rush Limbaugh need to shut up, have 1,000 seats and focus on something more productive then attacking Beyonce for not repeating herself or trying to keep a good girl image. She’s being true to how she feels and she vocalizes it thru song. That’s what a real artist does. So if you like it, rock out but if you don’t, cool! But don’t attack the person for being different with their creativity. People have said much worse in a song!!

here my game plan for the new year:

1) More Original Art

2) Fan-art pieces only one piece a month

3) Plan to open online sop by Summer 2013

4) Complete and Close all art trades, commissions or request until further notice.

( sorry guys, but its time for me now)

If you had an incomplete art trade or commission, post it on this journal if you do not remind me before me, it will not get done.

That’s just how my mind works!

I cant say Yes to everyone or worry about someone not liking me because I don’t want to draw for them.

I need to focus on my art and get this career on the correct path.

Drawing nothing but fan-art and nothing original for near 2 years isn’t gonna do it.

After the 16th I will randomly draw five winners from the entrants, each of whom will get signed art books, including a personalized sketch of their choice on the inside cover!

I’m going to try to ship the art books out by the 21st, allowing for domestic arrival by Christmas Day.

If you do not observe Christmas, I will take my sweet time with your sketch and it will be awesome.

I never have time to do sketches for people outside of conventions, so I’m trying to change that up a bit- we’ll see if I stress myself out in the process, but it’s worth it. :)
